The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, on Saturday in Uyo, received the Abdul Momoh Photography Ambassadorial Award of Excellence for his outstanding performance in football administration in the country.
Reacting to the honour, Alhaji Gusau reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that football under his leadership continues to witness development in line with international best practices.
While appreciating Abdul Momoh for the gesture, the NFF boss stressed that the federation will not relent in its efforts to attract private partnerships to drive the growth of the game across Nigeria.
Present at the mini-presentation, which held before the World Cup qualifier between Nigeria and Rwanda, at Monty hotel Uyo, were former Deputy Governor of Edo State and Director-General of the Nigeria Institute of Sports, Dr. Philip Shaibu, and ex-international football star Kanu Nwankwo
