As Kwara United gear up for a monumental clash against Abakaliki FC in the final of the President Federation Cup, the Chairman of Offa FC, Alhaji Azeez Omoluabi, has rallied support for the Harmony Boys.
Omoluabi expressed unwavering confidence in the ability of the boys to make their fans and the state at large, proud.
Speaking with newsmen yesterday, the Chairman said, “my total support is for Kwara United. I will be in Lagos live and I have made vehicles available for me and my colleagues that will grace the occasion.
“We pray and believe that Kwara United will defeat Abakaliki FC and bring the trophy to Kwara State for the first time in history” Omoluabi declared.
He called on fans, supporters, family members, and football lovers across the state to turn out in large numbers for the final and show total solidarity with the team.
“Let’s show our boys that we believe in them. Let’s paint the stadium in the colors of Kwara United and cheer them on to victory”.
He thanked the sports loving Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his huge investment in the club, praying God to always be with him.
He also thanked the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, the FA Chairman, Mallam Idris Musa Thuraya and the Director of Sports, Kwara State Sports Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Bako, sports writers, supporters and fans club of Kwara United for their dedication and support.
The highly anticipated match is set to take place on Saturday, June 28th, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.
